No biz like shoebiz for Lady Gaga

IF her daring choice of footwear is anything to go by, this superstar may soon be rebranding as Lady Gargantuan.

American singer Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, was pictured tottering along the streets of New York in white stiletto boots with eight-inch heels.

The 35-year-old opted for a pale blue Marc Jacobs bandeau top and cycling shorts to compliment the boots.

Gaga is soon to star as a fellow eccentric fashionista, Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani, in the biopic House Of Gucci, and is releasing an album with crooner Tony Bennett.

On Tuesday she wished him a happy 95th birthday, posting: “I love you! You are forever my friend and musical companion!”

Just don’t ask Tony to tie your shoelaces…
