DVLA’s service has been put into reverse by Covid

I KNOW some businesses have been accused of using Covid as an excuse, but is DVLA the same?

At over 70, I have to renew my driving licence but after filling in the online form I was informed: “Cannot be renewed online as licence no longer valid.”

I tried to contact them by phone but you are told they are busy and then cut off.

I went online, but you get a robot which asks questions and then you are told all staff are busy so hold on.

I have been holding on for days. I then received a message asking me how I felt about their service.
