UK rescues migrants but maroons its loyal soldiers
AT THE end of July this year I was medically discharged from the Army after 18 years service because I had been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder combat stress.
This week I have been told that I cannot claim any benefits – so much for the Armed Forces Covenant, if such a thing even exists.
Then I read that a jihadi bride repatriated to this country, which she betrayed, has been given a £500,000 house (“Bizarre decision makes UK a global laughing stock”, Letters,August 3).
Welcome to “Great” Britain, where people who rock up in a dinghy on the Dover coast or commit treason get better treated than people who put their lives on the line for our flag.
