Murphy poised to strike with Siyata

CHAMPION jockey Oisin Murphy can enjoy more success with SIYATA (7.52, nap) at Haydock tonight.

Murphy was in the saddle when the filly showed muchimproved form on her handicap debut at Ffos Las last month, beating

Gilt Edge with something in hand.

The handicapper has given Siyata a cracking chance to follow up as she runs off only a 2lb higher mark.

Her trainer Roger Charlton, above, can also celebrate success at Newmarket with MAKRAM (6.38, nb).

The gelding was rewarded for some excellent performances in defeat when beating Rhythmic Intent at Sandown last month. And he remains on a favourable handicap mark, up only 4lb. Last week’s course and distance winner ABATE (7.38, treble) gets the nod in the finale. He had something in hand when proving too strong for Recall The Show.
