What crime will get you time?

YOU sometimes have to wonder what planet our judges are on. Figures released by the Ministry of Justice show that in the last year alone a thief with 200 previous convictions wasn’t sent to prison, a serial burglar with 57 previous convictions for the same crime was spared jail and a violent offender with 23 previous convictions for assault was given a non-custodial sentence. And some people still claim too many offenders are sent to prison.

It actually makes you wonder what you have to do to get sent to prison these days.
