It was mayhem! Packed passengers slam airport

SOCIAL distancing is forgotten as passengers queue for hours at chaos-hit Luton Airport.

Even babies were crammed into corridors after electric gates failed on Tuesday. One arrival, Bernadette Rodgers, said: “It was mayhem. No wonder Covid is rising.”

The airport said it is “working hard” to stop it happening again.
