SCAM OF THE WEEK

FRAUDSTERS are using WhatsApp to target victims with their scams. One of the most common I have been hearing about this week is a message that says you need to pay customs duties on a parcel before it can be delivered. The message contains a link and the recipient is directed to click on the link to make the payment. Victims who fall for this then have their bank account emptied.
