CAN SHOPKEEPERS INSIST I WEAR A MASK?

I was refused entry into my local shop due to not having a face mask. As this is no longer a legal requirement can they impose this condition?

Retailers can make up their own rules in relation to entry into their premises so long as they do not discriminate against anybody, therefore, they can insist on masks.

I had a new boiler and new radiators installed last month. The system hasn’t worked properly and the company that installed them say the problem is that we did not have a powerflush and we will need to pay to get this done to fix the problem. Is this right?

The installer should have highlighted the need to do this and informed you of the cost. If they did do this, there will be nothing you can now do unless the problem with the installation is not the lack of a powerflush. However, if the installer failed to highlight this my view is that it should now carry out the powerflush free of charge.
