SUPERDAN SKIPS TO THE TASK OF CLEARING UP RUBBISH
A TEENAGER has cleared more than 18 tons of rubbish dumped on a country road after being outraged at the mess.
Daniel Lewis, 16, set up litter picks and a community scheme to provide free skips to villages around his home town of Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales.
He cleared one notorious spot –heaped with furniture, children’s toys and old clothes – three times.
Known as SuperDan, he’s helped by local firms sponsoring him including one that gives him access to a skip and grab-picker lorry.
His mum Lesley said: “We’re so proud of what Daniel has done.”
