RUPERT AND BILLY GOAT

Pausing impatiently, Rupert hears the clink of metal and sees that his pal has taken something from a sack. “I say, look,” cries Billy. “Here’s a heavy little clock. I believe it’s gold! And there are jewels and silver things. Why are they all jumbled together? And why?” “Stop! I see it all,” Rupert interrupts. “Now I know who those bad men are! Come on, let’s run while we have a chance!” Billy joins him and they race out of the cave. Reaching the ledge Rupert gazes upwards.
