Danjuma in £21m move

BOURNEMOUTH winger Arnaut Danjuma is joining Europa League winners Villarreal in a £21.3million deal.

The Nigerian-born Dutch forward hit 17 goals for the Cherries last season.

The 24-year-old, who was also being chased by several Premier League clubs including Aston Villa and Southampton, joined Bournemouth from Club Bruges in August 2019.

Danjuma still had a year of his contract left at theVitality Stadium.

Bournemouth manager Scott Parker will hope to be given some of the money from the sale, as he seeks to strengthen his side for a sustained promotion push.
