Suspect is arrested

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife after police found him in Scotland.

Mark Barrott, 54, of Leeds, was detained in the Elgin area at 4.30am yesterday.

He was arrested on suspicion of the murder of 50-year-old nurse Eileen Barrott, who was found at the couple’s terraced home inWhinmoor, Leeds, on Sunday.

WestYorkshire Police said he will be brought back to the force area.

Neighbours of the couple said they have a grown-up son and daughter.
