Bader car in bidders’ sights
A CLASSIC car owned by late RAF Battle of Britain hero Douglas Bader may fetch up to £85,000 at auction.
The 1954 Alvis TC21/100 coupe was supplied new to Group Capt Sir Douglas who shot down 22 planes despite having lost his legs in an air crash.
It will be sold by H&H Classics at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Cambs on September 8.
