Point finger at leader who fled with £123m, not PM

IT IS reported Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani is in the United Arab Emirates with £123million and the Army has disappeared, yet some people are blaming our Prime Minister. How unfair (“Afghan President fled nation in helicopter to Dubai with eye-watering £123m stash of cash”, August 18).

Boris had every right to expect better. It is their fault that the country has been overrun, not ours.

We helped to keep the peace for 20 years so let’s not be so hard on ourselves.We could not remain without America.
