Booing footballers who take the knee is not racist

ACCUSING people of being racist for booing when footballers take a knee is, in my opinion, a disgrace and the accusers should hang their heads in shame.

The people who boo are not racists.They either do not like the perceived links with other movements or they just long for a return to the days when sport was about sport.

If there has to be a gesture in support of anti-racism, don’t ride on the coattails of another movement that has proved so divisive. Duncan McIlravie, Northampton
