Dyche: I’ll pen new deal when it arrives

- By David Anderson

SEAN DYCHE has dispelled any doubts about his Burnley future by insisting he is not leaving.

The manager, 50, has yet to sign his new contract despite months of talks.

Dyche, right, whose deal expires in June, says there are no issues and he will sign a new one when it is presented.

He is the Premier League’s longestserving manager, having been at Turf Moor since 2012, and said: “All players sign the same contract, a blue contract as we used to call it. They’re all the same, except with different numbers on them. “Managers’ contracts are different. They have to be drawn up and changed, different wording. So it can take time. “The lawyers have to get involved. “It’s taking more time than was hoped. It’s in the process of being done and I’ve never said I’m leaving.

“I’m waiting on news on when it can be tidied up and delivered to me.”
