Jihadist wanted to kill the Queen
SUDESH Amman relished his “status” as a dangerous jihadi and dreamed of murdering the Queen.
He wanted to join Islamic State and said he wished he had helped in the murder of soldier Lee Rigby.
Inside Britain’s high-security Belmarsh Prison he sought the company of notorious inmates like Manchester Arena bomb plotter Hashem Abedi.
He was proud of being the youngest terrorist in the London jail, calling himself a “wild tiger who doesn’t obey the law”.
Amman became increasingly violent in Belmarsh and was caught fighting on CCTV.
He openly declared he wanted to kill the Queen, the inquest was told, and would prowl the prison shouting: “This place is full of nonbelievers. Everyone here will come under the black flag.”
A source commented: “He wanted to let everyone inside know he was in for terrorism.
“He loved being category A and the status it gave him among other prisoners.”
