Didn’t she do well ...Wilnelia plants Forsythia tribute to beloved Bruce

BRUCE Forsyth’s widow paid an emotional tribute to him on the fourth anniversar­y of his death, planting forsythia on his beloved golf course.

LadyWilnel­ia put the yellow-flowering shrub next to his memorial bench atWentwort­h Golf Club in Surrey.

She said of Sir Bruce: “We miss you always and today more than ever.”

The entertaine­r died of bronchial pneumonia in August 2017, aged 89.

Rainbow

Lady Wilnelia, 63, said recently that she is reminded of him every time she sees a rainbow.

The 1975 MissWorld added: “I remember saying to him, ‘But Bruce, how will I know what to do when you’re not here? I can’t even work the TV remote without you!’

“He turned to me and said, ‘Just look for the rainbow, my darling’. Now his children send me pictures of rainbows from wherever they are.”

Sir Bruce, whose many catchphras­es included “Didn’t they do well”, and the ex-Miss Puerto Rico married in 1983.
