Farke eyes a repeat KO

- By Ian Winrow

DANIEL FARKE will draw on the memory of Norwich’s victory over Manchester City two years ago to inspire his underdogs today.

After starting the season against Liverpool last week and now City, the Canaries boss could be forgiven for cursing his luck.

But he said: “Let’s be honest, these games are not the defining moments. Two years ago our win over Man City was not a guarantee of staying up. Of course we want to enjoy it and will be motivated. We have to be spot on with our defending and be resilient. But it won’t be enough.

“It’s like a boxer who wants to win the fight and never punches. He has no chance.

“That was the way we beat them two years ago. We were good at beating their pressing and creating chances against them. If we just defend we have no chance.”
