LAGE WANTS TOTAL FOCUS
BRUNO LAGE predicts a warm welcome for Nuno Espirito Santo but has urged his Wolves players not to show his predecessor any sentiment on the pitch.
Former Wolves head coach Nuno returns to Molineux tomorrow after a successful four-year reign. Spurs’ new manager signed virtually all of Wolves’ stars but replacement Lage, left, says his squad must not get misty-eyed at the reunion.
Lage said: “I think the fans will give him a big welcome because they don’t forget what he did.
“But after the whistle they will support us to help us to win the match.”
Wolves’ new era began with a 1-0 loss at Leicester last Saturday.
But the visitors had 17 shots in the game and might have snatched a draw as chances went begging.
And Lage insists following Nuno is not a daunting challenge, saying: “My task is to keep going and create success.”
