Reality: Junk And Disorderly, ITV, 10.45pm
Vintage restorer Henry Cole and his mechanical wizard of a best friend Sam Lovegrove (left) are back scouring the nation’s automotive auctions and auto jumbles. The pair’s overall aim is simple: to make a profit out of buying and selling other people’s junk. In order to do so, the duo must work their magic on their purchases in an attempt to add more value before putting them up for sale again. On the agenda this week are motorcycles, memorabilia and some massive cash potential.
Arts: Turandot On Sydney Harbour, Sky Arts, 10pm
An Opera Australia production of Giacomo Puccini’s tale of disguised identities, riddles, ritual executions and triumphant love, performed on a floating stage in the spectacular Sydney Harbour. Regarded as one of the greatest operas ever written, director Chen Shi-Zheng brings a unique perspective to the story using theatrical acrobatics and traditional Chinese opera to create a visually pleasing production.
Documentary: 9/11: 102 Minutes That Changed America, C4, 10pm
Raw footage and audiotape recorded by people around New York, giving a real-time insight into their experiences of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre in 2001. The duration of the tragedy, from the first plane crashing into the North Tower to the collapse of both buildings, totalled 102 minutes. During that time, many of the city’s residents sought to preserve images of the horror taking place. Compiled into one historical record, the end result is a personal perspective on events as they unravelled on that life-changing day. In the immediate aftermath of the attacks (left), only 20 people were pulled out alive from the debris.
With a focus on China’s relationship with Australia, America and the UK, Jane Corbin hears first-hand accounts of the activities of the Chinese Communist Party that President Xi has called his “magic weapon”. Corbin looks at how is it used to infiltrate business, government and universities involved in cutting-edge science and what is next for the powerful nation.

A US police officer finds his life is falling to pieces after the death of his mother. During a bitter divorce with his unfaithful wife, he attempts to find solace in building a better relationship with his young daughter, but events are already spiralling beyond his control. Comedy drama directed, written by and starring Jim Cummings (right), based on the 2016 short film of the same name. This 2018 version also features Nican Robinson, Jocelyn DeBoer and Kendal Farr.
