A betrayal of this nation’s greatest PM

THE disgraceful events of the last few days, when the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust removed images of the man whose leadership saved Britain from a Nazi invasion during the Second World War, shows what is wrong with this country at the moment (“Churchill’s image reinstated by woke charity after Boris says it’s airbrushing history”, September 10).

We are allowing tiny, vocal, anti-British minority groups to not only airbrush our country’s great and complex history but to dictate its policy and future direction.

As for the newly renamed “Churchill Fellowship”, as far as I am concerned this is no longer an organisation of worth, it no longer has any useful purpose or existence.
