TEAM-MATES Jason O’Halloran and Taz Mackenzie shared Bennetts British Superbike Championship wins at Silverstone yesterday – just a day after both were left battered, bruised and broken.

Mackenzie, right, who had initially been ruled unfit to ride after breaking his fifth metacarpal in a crash in Saturday’s race that also took out his team-mate, bounced back to win with O’Halloran second.

It was roles reversed in the second race as O’Halloran beat Mackenzie in another McAMS Yamaha one-two.
