Traore train on track

- IVAN SPECK

WOLVES boss Bruno Lage believes the goals will come for Adama Traore.

The 25-year-old, right, scored just twice last season and despite searing pace and physical power, he does not always look as if he knows the best option to take when bearing down on goal.

But Lage, who took over at Molineux this summer, said: “For sure, it’s important for him to score but he gives us a lot of things. The way Adama trains, this is just a period he is going through.

“He works hard to improve and goals will come for sure.”

WATFORD WOLVES

Francisco Sierralta’s own-goal proved crucial at Vicarage Road as Wolves secured their first Premier League win under Lage.

After 344 minutes without a goal to start the new season, they looked toothless again until Sierralta misjudged a cross from Marcal and headed past Daniel Bachmann.

Hee-Chan Hwang sealed it, tapping in Daniel Podence’s cross.
