Police doe their duty

POLICE officers saved a deer trapped in a swing.

PC Marcus Wright and PC DaveWilkinson rescued the frightened animal after its antlers got tangled in the ropes near Powis Castle in Welshpool, mid-Wales.

Bodycam footage shows Marcus scratching the deer’s head to calm it as Dave uses his first aid kit scissors to free it.

They said: “As animal lovers, it was a very rewarding experience.”
