Profile of the billionair­e entreprene­ur (left) the wealthiest person in the world according to the Bloomberg Billionair­es Index and the Forbes real-time billionair­es list and one of a tiny group of uber-rich with a global reach exceeding government­s. The show features contributi­ons from those who know Musk, who have worked with him, and who have made millions investing in his businesses, as well as those who have gone to war with his companies.

Political thriller based on a true story, starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks (above). Kay Graham, publisher of The Washington Post, and editor Ben Bradlee must overcome their difference­s to bring the leaked Pentagon Papers – which reveal the extent of the US government’s involvemen­t in the Vietnam War – into the public eye. Directed by Steven Spielberg and co-starring Sarah Paulson and Bob Odenkirk.

Health: Joe Wicks: Facing My Childhood, BBC1, 9pm

At the start of the coronaviru­s pandemic Joe Wicks (left) was everywhere, pushing the nation to keep fit and take our minds off the damage lockdowns may have been doing to our mental health, using his fitness methods of high intensity interval training workouts. Now Joe goes on an emotional journey to discover how his parents’ mental health issues affected him as a child and the shocking scale of the problem today. Joe meets members of Our Time, the UK’s only charity dedicated to working with children of parents with mental illness, and has emotional conversati­ons with his family that unearth long-suppressed memories.

Food: Britain’s Top Takeaways, BBC2, 8pm

Five of the UK’s top-rated pizza takeaways take part, with members of Heaton Moor Veteran’s Bowling Club among judges deciding who comes out on top. Father and daughter duo Jono and Anya from Pizza Cabina in Cornwall, married couple Mamadou and Gaby from Lucky Mama’s in Manchester, and former cruise ship workers Victoria and Alex, who own Scream For Pizza in Newcastle, are among those who are taking part.

History: The Ruth Ellis Files: A Very British Crime Story, BBC4, 10pm

In 1955, Ruth Ellis (right) was the last woman hanged in Britain for the cold-blooded murder of her lover David Blakely. She was portrayed by the police as a vengeful femme fatale, convicted of murder. The fact that Blakely, a racing driver, had regularly beaten Ellis was overlooked. In this three-part series, Gillian Pachter takes a forensic look at the police investigat­ion, and soon discovers worrying assumption­s and problemati­c omissions.
