BORIS BULLISH ON SEEING OFF REVOLT
BORIS Johnson is confident his enemies will fail to change Tory rules to oust him, allies say.
Opponents want reforms that would allow a leadership election every six months.
But insiders believe MPs will reject the plan, fearing it would leave the party permanently weakened. A source close to the PM said: “If the rules were changed, every leader would have a gun to their head.”
And critic and ex-Brexit secretary David Davis said MPs had to accept “rules are rules”.
