I feel my life is over

- By Hanna Geissler

KIRSTY Robinson caught Covid before the first lockdown in March 2020.

She was not treated in hospital but has been left with persistent symptoms, including debilitating fatigue and joint pain.

Kirsty, of South Shields, said: “My life feels like it’s over now. I’m only 31, I had a career, I was going out with friends, I was living my life.”

She added: “I’ve only recently started being honest with my friends about how ill I am.

“I went for a couple of drinks and a meal for my birthday. I had to take a week off work to do that.”
