Ron’s back for new season says Bruno
CRISTIANO Ronaldo has assured his Manchester United team-mates he is staying at the club next season.
Chelsea and Bayern Munich have been monitoring Ronaldo’s situation after he was reportedly dismayed at United’s lack of transfer activity.
His United teammate and Portuguese compatriot Bruno Fernandes, though, revealed he has spoken to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and is confident he is staying.
With United closing in on Dutch pair Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona and Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord, Fernandes said: “I spoke to him weeks ago, so I expect to meet him for pre-season training. He’ll come back later because of the international games and I’m not thinking about anything other than that.”
