Having a ball... Lionesses star in glamorous shoot
THEY wore the white shirts of England with pride.
Now, our victorious Lionesses are turning on the style in white again – but this time in glamorous outfits for a glitzy photoshoot.
Star players Lucy Bronze, Ellen White and Keira Walsh all looked sublime on the pitch as England won Euro 2022 at Wembley last month.
And the trio look equally spectacular posing in designer gear, complete with football boots, as they grace the front cover of OK! magazine.
Manchester City stars Ellen, 33, and Keira, 25, and Barcelona’s Lucy,
30, all discussed how winning the Euros has changed their lives.
Lucy said: “Things like this are something we’re getting a bit more used to. It’s nice.
“I don’t think we’ll ever get used to kicking a ball in heels and a dress though!
“In terms of our legacy and the country, we’re really pushing that we want all girls to have access to football in schools. It sparked us writing the open letter to Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss.”
Ellen added: “My husband keeps walking around the house with my medal saying, ‘Put it on, put it on.’ He’s very proud.
“It’s what you dream would happen. For me, there was the barrier to overcome of not having girls’ football available. I played on the boys’ team at school and then in a local boys’ team.”
Kiera said: “I went to Tesco yesterday to get dinner and everyone was asking for a selfie. Normally I can go in there without getting noticed.
It’s changed everything.”
