Use migrant skills to train up industry apprentices

THE problem of allowing foreign workers into our country goes on (“Sunak’s ‘No’ to overseas labour influx”, November 22).

A simple idea would be to allow firms to bring in migrants’ expertise on the proviso that it is time-limited and they take in a UK worker to be trained in that role.
