DOES AIRPORT QUEUEING PUT YOU OFF TRAVELLING ABROAD?
YesAFTER all that the UK has had to put up with in the last couple of years, I won’t be travelling abroad again (“Cut queues at airports or we’ll go elsewhere”, November 23).
I just can’t be bothered and I don’t think it’s worth the aggravation. Covid has been the death knell for my family and for many others up and down the country, I’m sure.
I think it’s easier to load up your car during the summer and holiday in the UK.
It’s quicker, less hassle and just as good when the sun shines.

WHEN it gets to this time of year, the only thing that gets people through is Christmas and the knowledge that a sunshine break abroad is just around the corner.
OK, so sometimes it’s an inconvenience going through passport control, security and check-in but once that’s out of the way you can be in Europe in a few hours, soaking up the sun on a beach.
Compare that to the January blues caused by work, rain, snow and commuting in the dark. It’s utter misery.
I’ll take the queues at the airports any time.
