Out-of-touch union chiefs need a lesson in business

ALL union bosses representi­ng the rail workers, postal workers, nurses etc, should be forced to undergo courses in business management before being allowed to hold office (“Union Grinches set to steal Christmas”, November 23).

There are so many families currently using food banks and cutting back on shopping, utilities, Christmas gifts and so on due to the rise in prices across the board. This is a global issue too. Why don’t these bosses realise that higher wages do nothing more than raise the rate of inflation? Carole Burton, Lichfield
