Health: Matt Willis: Fighting Addiction, BBC1, 9pm
Intimate first-hand account of the struggle faced by bassist and cofounder of Busted, Matt Willis (left), as he opens up about his experience with drug and alcohol addiction, and his daily struggle to stay clean and sober. Matt, left, speaks honestly about the fear of relapse as he looks back on his darkest days in a bid to get to the root of his addictions. Along the way he visits the rehab unit that assisted him, where he speaks with experts about why he became dependent on drugs and alcohol, before meeting a research team from Imperial College London who are studying the differences in the brains of people with addictions and those without.

However, their inexperience, coupled with the predictable nature of the thefts, allows a veteran ranger to second-guess their moves. Eight famous faces – Kerry Katona (above), plus Megan Barton Hanson, David Potts, Michael Venom Page, Princess Olga Romanov, Toby Aromolaran, Chloe Veitch and Martin Roberts – join a retreat in rural Yorkshire to undergo self-improvement and health exercises under the tutelage of spiritual guide Sah D’Simone. Tonight, an intense treatment has a profound effect on Princess Olga’s stiff upper lip.
Lifestyle: Designing The Hebrides, BBC2, 8pm
Interior Design Masters winner Banjo Beale (above with his dog Grandpa) is establishing his interior design business on the Isle of Mull. Tonight, he has to design a gin-tasting bar using materials found on the farm where he lives, for the launch of a spirit distilled there. In doing so, he aims to give back to those who welcomed him and his husband to the community, but will his creation manage to live up to expectations?
Documentary: Rookie Nurses, BBC3, 9pm
New series following the daily reality for rookie nurses as they deal with life-and-death situations and everything in between. In Carmarthen, 22-year-old Mikey is part of the trauma team helping a teenage rugby player suffering from severe concussion. In Aberystwyth, 24-year-old Leah deals with a patient following a freak lawnmower accident. There is also good news for health care assistant Caitlin (right) who collects her new nurse’s uniform after years of study.
