Epstein’s ‘threats to Bill Gates over affair’
PRINCE Andrew’s paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein appeared to threaten fellow billionaire Bill Gates over an alleged affair with a Russian bridge player, it has been reported.
During Epstein’s life and before his suicide in prison in 2019, the Wall Street financier was known to hold details on many members of the rich and powerful.
Now it is claimed that he once used that information to threaten one of the richest men on the planet.
The Microsoft founder met Mila Antonova around 2010 when she was in her 20s.
Epstein, pictured right, met her three years later and then funded her studies at a software coding school.
In 2017, Epstein emailed Mr Gates and asked to be reimbursed for the course, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The convicted sex offender had failed to convince Mr Gates to participate in a multi-billion dollar charitable fund.
The implication was that Epstein could reveal the affair if Mr Gates did not keep up an association between the two men. A spokeswoman for Mr Gates said that he met Epstein solely for philanthropic purposes. Having failed repeatedly to draw Mr Gates beyond these matters, Epstein tried unsuccessfully to leverage a past relationship to threaten Mr Gates.” Ms Antonova declined to comment on Mr Gates. Of Epstein, she said: “I had no idea that he was a criminal or had any ulterior motive. I just thought he was a successful businessman and wanted to help. I am disgusted with Epstein and what he did.”
Prince Andrew, 63, was friends with Epstein but has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing. He stayed at three of his homes.
American investigators believe that the lavish properties were dotted with scores of hidden cameras.
