BE IN NO doubt we are witnessing a leftwing activist civil service seeking to purge the country and the government of rightwing Conservatives. They target those daring to speak out on what the majority of the public is thinking – controlling immigration, being tough on crime and delivering the full benefits of Brexit. One by one these politicians are being undermined by a woke blob of elite internationalists who collectively believe they know better than you and me, and will ensure they get their way, irrespective of election results.
It might sound far-fetched but it is happening in plain sight. Boris Johnson knows this only too well, after being reported to the police by the Cabinet Office, without seemingly even the PM or ministers knowing about it or approving it.
No one is sure why this happened but civil servants, “obliged” by their code, decided to take it upon themselves to report him, said a “source”. Really? This power shift from accountable, democratically elected politicians to unelected, unaccountable civil servants should alarm everyone who holds democracy dear.
Suella Braverman, another darling of the right, became a victim this week, after she spoke out about the unacceptably high immigration levels and the need to curb the number of foreign students and their dependants coming to this country – a message that landed badly with the left-leaning blob.
As a result she ended up being smeared by the civil service, plastered across the front pages over a speeding incident that happened last year where she had clearly done nothing wrong – aside from the speeding, of course! Apart from Suella and her civil servants, who would have known about this to leak it to the media?
This is a co-ordinated campaign of smear and removal. It almost feels as if “an enforcer” is driving it, as if someone at the very top of the civil service is trying to bring the government down one by one. I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised, after all Sir Keir Starmer has offered the job of his chief of staff to the former enforcer of the civil service, Sue Gray.
It is bad enough that they are doing this, but the fact they are doing it so openly and with impunity is an outrage – and damages the dedicated impartial civil servants who I know still work there.
But enough is enough. Even Yes, Minister would never have imagined things could go this far.
It’s time to adopt the American system of a new administration bringing in its own people to deliver on the election promises people voted for.
That is the only way to stop this cancer in the civil service once and for all.
TECH multi-millionaire Bryan Johnson’s vanity has driven him to what I consider to be insanity. On what level can he think a blood transfusion from his 17-year-old son is acceptable?
Initially Bryan was spending $2 million dollars a year to retain his youthfulness. Over the top you might think, but it’s his money so it’s up to him what he spends it on and so good luck to him. But using his underage son’s plasma to remove his wrinkles, and then making YouTube videos about it, is surely taking the commandment of “honour thy mother and father” to a new low?
Like a modern-day vampire he is quite literally taking the blood out of his son in what appears to be any attempt to stay young.
Is it just me that finds this deeply disturbing?
Lord knows what the social consequences of these actions will be on his son.
What does the mother have to say about this? I think social services is more appropriate to deal with this than social media.
