Sussexes in need of self-awareness

HARRY and Meghan apparently “reached out” to Wills and Kate after news of her cancer was made public last week.

They’ve had no response from the couple and surely couldn’t have expected one. This is the Catherine who Meghan trashed and accused of lying; the same Catherine who was once the closest thing Harry had to a sister, but who he has since bad-mouthed and disrespected on the global stage.

An insider told the New York Post: “They had no idea, and only learned the news around the time the rest of the world found out.”

Of course they did.

Why would Wills and Kate ever trust either of these tattle-tales with such momentous news, knowing they’d probably sell it to the highest bidder?

But having found out about Kate’s condition, Harry and Meghan issued a statement which was beyond parody: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

PRIVATELY AND IN PEACE – this from the couple whose abject cruelty robbed Kate and Wills of both?

■ THIS week, a woman called Jeniffer Campbell, a former beauty pageant-winning barrister, sued her boss, Alexandra Jacobs, for calling her “glamorous”. But even though her case for race harassment and discrimination was thrown out, employment judge Sophie Park did say calling someone glamorous “could be taken as undermining or belittling”.

Could it? Could it really? I think anyone with a rational mind would take “glamorous” as a huge compliment.

Now look at the pic of Ms Campbell and tell me what look – which didn’t happen by accident – you think she’s going for here? I’d say glamorous!
