Food: Air Fryers: Sunday Lunch Made Easy, C5, 8pm

Following hot on the heels of related Channel 5 programmes, including Air Fryers: Christmas Made Easy and Air Fryers: Do You Know What You’re Missing? comes this new cooking series, in which Alexis Conran aims to prove how easy it can be to prepare decent meals in an air fryer, even for the most amateur of chefs. Alexis invites a celebrity guest to join him in experimenting with this gadget. Plus, Clare Andrews and Dean Edwards are on hand with some quick-fire recipes.

Film: Titanic, Film4, 9pm

James Cameron’s Oscar-winning blockbuster. During the Titanic’s maiden voyage in 1912, penniless artist Jack Dawson falls in love with socialite Rose DeWitt Bukater, who is travelling with her fiance. Years later, Rose relives the affair and the tragic events that followed, while a salvage crew searches for a diamond said to have been lost in the shipwreck. Stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet (above).

Community: Andi Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts, BBC2, 8pm

After opening this new series in Cornwall, putting on an epic feast for NHS staff, Andi heads to Bristol to help Jasper Thompson (left), a local man whose pioneering homeless project transforms shipping containers into temporary accommodation. He wants to raise awareness about his new community cafe, so who better than Andi to help him put together a feast that draws on her and Jasper’s own roots in Antigua and Jamaica, while paying tribute to Bristol’s wider Caribbean heritage. The cafe itself needs a refurbishment, but can Jasper get it ready in time, and can Andi harness Bristol’s creative spirit to make sure the event is a success?

Homes: George Clarke’s Remarkable Renovations, C4, 8pm

In Wales, George meets Tim and Kirsti (above), who are creating a new home for their blended family. Tim’s two children recently moved over from South Africa, making their current rental tight on space. The high-street-shop-turned-accountants’-office offered the five bedrooms they needed for a price they could afford. However, it lacks a kitchen and a connection to the garden, so they need to build a modern extension.

Documentary: Jane Goodall: Beauty And The Beasts, BBC4, 7pm

This revealing programme filmed in Africa tells the story of how, in 1960, Jane (right), a young secretary with no scientific qualifications, entered a remote forest in Tanzania and achieved something nobody had ever done before – befriending a group of wild chimpanzees, making discoveries that transformed our understanding of them and us. The programme also explains the personal cost of her achievements. Narrated by Neil Stuke.
