Travel: Susan Calman’s Great British Cities, C5, 9pm

The comedian turns historical detective to seek out people who know our cities inside-out. This week she is in Glasgow, uncovering the hidden history of her home city. Susan (left) meets Professor Maria Fletcher to look at the life of Madge Easton Anderson, who became the first female lawyer and forged the path of the presenter’s life – Susan used to be a lawyer. She also loo into Victorian entertainm­ent, looking at the world’s oldest surviving music hall.

Film: I, Tonya, BBC2, 11.05pm

Black comedy with Margot Robbie (above) in the role of controvers­ial figure skater Tonya Harding, whose sporting career was derailed after she was implicated in the attack on rival US medal-hopeful Nancy Kerrigan prior to the 1994 Winter Olympics. Allison Janney clinched an Oscar, Golden Globe and Bafta for her role as Harding’s sadistic mother LaVona. Paul Walter Hauser and Sebastian Stan provide support.

Football: UEFA Euro 2025 Qualifier: England v Sweden, ITV1, 7.30pm

England’s women’s team start their Euro 2025 qualifying campaign with a match against Sweden at Wembley Stadium. The Lionesses are the current European Champions, and they last played Sweden when they beat them in the semi-final on the way to lifting the trophy in 2022. England have also drawn France and the Republic Of Ireland in their group. The top two teams will qualify for the finals in Switzerlan­d, while the other two nations will go into a play-off, with the bottom team relegated to League B for the next Nations League campaign. Laura Woods presents coverage, with analysis from Ian Wright and Karen Carney. Kick-off is at 8pm.

After beginning their adventure at Flint Castle – the official start of the 220km Pilgrim’s Way – last week, the travellers (above) head into Eryri National Park to visit Aber Falls. The celebritie­s then decide to detour to Anglesey, which is rich in pre-Christian history. By day six, the path goes right past Yr Wyddfa, or Mount Snowdon, where the group attempts a summit climb.

Factual: Tommy Steele: The Great Entertaine­r, C5, 10pm

This documentar­y tells the incredible story of how the singer and actor (right) went from East End boy to Britain’s first rock ’n’ roll idol, before reinventin­g himself as a star of stage and screen, appearing in Hollywood films and TV specials, on Broadway and in the West End. It features rare archive material and interviews with those who know him well, including Michael Grade, Bradley Walsh, Marty Wilde, Marti Webb and Bill Kenwright.
