CHICKEN VINDALOO OR WIFE TO TAKE AWAY?

-

Why did Zainab even need a water feature when the Square is full of so many drips? I don’t mean Masood, of course, who manages to offload his postbag before anyone else is up for breakfast – that shows stamina. On Monday, there is tension all round as the grand, er, un-gushing, is awaited. Inevitably, sabotage ruins the big moment. Is it enough to end a marriage? Possibly so, and on Tuesday Zainab stands by helplessly as Masood demolishes the feature.

On Thursday the pair realise the problems in their marriage run deep (deeper than a water feature, at any rate), and Masood faces the reality that they have no future together. On Monday this week, Zainab said: ‘We’re not the same couple who moved here years ago’, and that’s the problem. It’s not even the same set that was there when they arrived years ago.

It’s decision time on Friday, when the couple confront their feelings. Whether they stay together or separate, it’s still cause to celebrate with an Indian takeaway, I reckon. Oh, I forgot. The Argee Bhajee went bankrupt.

Tyler and Whitney have got engaged (above), and when Alfie spills the beans on Monday, the news does not go down well with the Jackson clan. On Tuesday Bianca explains she is just worried that Whitney is too young to get married. Given Whitney’s Vampire Diaries make-up, I’m more worried about the wedding photos. Let’s hope someone does Photoshop in Walford. Nevertheless, there are celebrations in the Vic on Friday as the engagement party gets under way. It’s not a bundle of laughs there for everyone, as Lucy confides in Tamwar about a lump she has found in her breast. Oh, please, not another cancer story so hot on the heels of Tanya’s.
