THE TOMORROW PEOPLE

The characters in this sci-fi drama are blessed with powers including teleporting, telepathy and predicting the future. However, even super kids such as Stephen Jameson (played by Robbie Amell, below centre) and Cara Coburn (Peyton List, below left) might have struggled to foresee the extraordinary way in which this show has evolved. Starting out as an ITV children’s show in the 70s, a big-budget remake was filmed in New York this year and has landed a prime-time slot on US channel The CW this October. E4 is expected to show it in 2014.
