2PM, RADIO 3 King Gustavus III of Sweden was shot at a masked ball, and died of his wounds. Verdi wrote an opera about the assassination called Una Vendetta. Hacked around by political censors, the work was eventually performed under the title Un Ballo In Maschera. This performance was recorded in Lisbon in 2000.
