Suspects: The Enemy Within

10PM, CH5 This semi-improvised cop show made quite an impact on its debut in 2014; though the novelty has worn off slightly, it’s still an effective format. The fifth series gets off to a truly shocking start, as DS Jack Weston (Damien Molony) receives a phone call from the daughter of his boss, DI Martha Bellamy. What she says sets in motion the most intensely personal investigation he and the team have ever had to deal with, for which they are joined by two new faces – James Murray and Lenora Crichlow as DCI Daniel Drummond and DS Alisha Brooks (right). Wild Animal Reunions 8PM, ITV As the series about people being reunited with the wild animals they helped to raise continues, part two features a foster mother to more than 300 monkeys, a touching display of affection between human and cheetah, and a woman who spends her time kissing sharks. Whatever you do, don’t be tempted to try this at home. Saving Lives At Sea 9PM, BBC1 As millions of us flock to the nearest water to cool down during the summer months, what many people forget is that rivers, lakes and seas can be deadly. In this episode, the RNLI volunteers rush to the rescue of a little girl trapped on rocks, a father out of his depth, and an idiot who has jumped off Tower Bridge in London. Long Lost Family 9PM, ITV Always a moving viewing experience, the show reaches new heights of emotion this week as Nicky Campbell and Davina McCall meet two women with very different but equally traumatic stories. Both have happy endings, but for one in particular, a lifetime of torment finally gives way to a much-needed inner peace.
