Over in Essex, Alan Power visits an arboretum to find out how the head gardener manages a landscape packed with trees, from young seedlings to gnarled elder statesmen.

8.30PM, BBC1 Always a welcome sight on any panel game, German comedian Henning Wehn is particularly good value on this one. Joining Lee Mack, David Mitchell and Rob Brydon this week, his explanation for why he unwittingly carried a large, empty box around for three weeks is worth the entry fee alone.
