Danny Brocklehur­st’s compelling drama returns for a second series, with an allnew ensemble cast and an allnew backdrop – this time, the headquarte­rs of a sports sales company. The first episode follows Joe (the always terrific Con O’Neill), head of sales and office joker, who starts to suspect his wife Belinda (Jill Halfpenny, right, with O’Neill) is having an affair. Joe, it turns out, has deep-rooted issues due to some ‘bad stuff’ in his past and, before you know it, he’s put his family under 24hour CCTV surveillan­ce – and found himself a new addiction.

Can science play Cupid? Nearly 3,500 singletons applied in the hope of finding out; just eight were chosen. This new series follows them as, having been paired off by experts, they meet and marry on the same day, and spend four weeks deciding whether to stick together, or get divorced.
