9PM, CH4 With series two of Channel 4’s critically acclaimed drama Humans starting tomorrow (9pm), actress Gemma Chan (right) presents a documentar­y in which she explores the latest developmen­ts in artificial intelligen­ce. Gemma, who plays a distractin­gly beautiful robot – or synth – in the series, sets out to discover whether the future depicted is already here, taking part in a groundbrea­king experiment in which experts build a robotic version of Gemma herself. Can the mechanical Gemma convince anyone that she’s actually the real, flesh and blood Gemma?

11PM, CH4 Award-winning film-maker and author Michael Moore returns with his latest documentar­y, this time based around his own one-man show, filmed just a few weeks ago in a Donald Trump-friendly city in Ohio. This is neither as hard-hitting nor as funny as you might expect.
