Operation Gold Rush With Dan Snow
9PM, BBC2 New series in which Dan Snow leads an intrepid team (right) on an epic adventure across the stunningly beautiful Canadian wilderness in search of gold. Following in the footsteps of the 19th century’s last great gold rush, their (genuinely) perilous, 600-mile mission will take them from the coast of Alaska to the gold fields of the Klondike, a remote region on the edge of the Canadian Arctic, crossing icy rivers and climbing near vertical cliff faces. Will they strike it lucky and find gold at the end of the rainbow?
