If you want wildlife... NATURAL WORLD Monday, 8pm, BBC2

If you want drama... THREE GIRLS Tuesday-Thursday, 9pm, BBC1

This powerful drama tells the desperate true story of three girls drawn into the frightening world of sexual exploitation in the north of England. If you want inspiration... A TIME TO LIVE Wednesday, 9pm, BBC2

For this moving documentary, the film-maker Sue Bourne set out to talk to people with a terminal illness. But this isn’t a film about death, but one about life, as we hear from people (including Nigel, right) who are determined to cherish their final days. Rather than being depressing, it’s uplifting and inspiring.

If you want soap stars... KAT & ALFIE: REDWATER Thursday, 8pm, BBC1

EastEnders favourites Kat and Alfie Moon (Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie) leave the confines of Albert Square behind them for this enjoyable six-part drama. The couple’s destination is the sleepy Irish village of Redwater, on a quest to find Kat’s long-lost son.
