Ever since Kat and Alfie left Albert Square in 2016, not long after they had a life-changing lottery win, fans of EastEnders have been left wondering what happened to them – not least because Alfie (Shane Richie) had been diagnosed with a brain tumour, and Kat (Jessie Wallace) had discovered that, as a teenager, she had a son who was taken away from her at birth. This six-part drama catches up with Mr and Mrs Moon as they arrive in the Irish village of Redwater, on the trail of that son, where they soon find the locals are hiding as many secrets as they are.
