SPOT THE CLUES TO A BRITISH SEASIDE RESORT AND YOU COULD WIN £50,000

This glorious image of a British seaside resort portrays the very best of summer fun. While some of the holidaymakers play beach cricket, others lie back in the sun, splash around in the water or cool off with an ice cream. But look again – because hidden in the picture is your first treasure hunt clue...

STEP 1 Look all around the picture and see if you can spot a series of individual letters that have been cleverly inserted into the scene.

STEP 2 Keep note of the individual letters as you find them.

STEP 3 Once you’ve spotted all seven, unscramble them to spell out the name of a British seaside resort. Write your answer in the space provided (top right). If you’re stuck for the solution to today’s clue, call our Solution Line on 0901 293 6200. Calls cost £1 plus your network access charge.

STEP 4 Then starting on Monday and all next week in the Daily Mail, we will print five more clues in the form of puzzles, the answers to which are all further seaside towns and resorts.

STEP 5 Write each answer down in the grid in the paper and when you’ve got all six on Friday, unscramble the highlighted letters on the grid to reveal this week’s solution.
